The February 2022 release notes for the CFLdb family of sites summarizes the changes and improvements made in the past month. Read on for details.

The following changes have been made to CFLdb Statistics since the last report:

• Data: Updated season jersey data for over 100 individual seasons and updated biographical data for over 10 individuals, including identity of one individual with missing first name (Thanks Mark!).
• Data: Related updates (over 275 updates, additions and deletions this month).
• Data: Added over 1 million data points related to game stats.
• Enhancement: Load game scoring summaries from local data, scoring summary improvements and hide scoring summary on games with bad data.
• Enhancement: Load game team and individual stats from local data.
• Bug: Fix a number of issues related to last month’s design framework update.
• Bug: Fix dashboard not displaying any data.
• Bug: Fix toggle on league all-time roster search.
• Bug: Fix league all-time roster search scroll to load data.
• Bug: Fix issue where post nominals were appearing in front of individual’s names instead of after.
• Bug: Fix local time for games not appearing on game pages (now shows all the time, previously, was not supposed to show when browser visitor local time was same as game stadium time).

Along with other cosmetic, data, performance, administrative, or infrastructure related bug fixes and enhancements (35 commits this month).

Roadmap

Getting local game data is first step to improving accuracy, presentation and expansion of game stats presented on CFLdb Statistics. Technology that displays dates/times displayed on the site in browser visitor local time is being updated and revisited to address issues.
