The September 2022 release notes for the CFLdb family of sites outlines the the improvements, changes and additions made in the past month. Read on for details.

The following changes have been made to CFLdb Statistics since the last report:

• Data: Corrected the coach indicated for Montreal for periods from 1920’s to 1940’s to Bill “Billy” Hughes from Ed Hughes (Thanks Claude!).
• Data: Added missing attendance for Aug. 25, 2022 game. (Thanks Warren!):
• Data: Added season jersey and/or amateur programs for 14 players, including adding first name to two players whose given names were previously unknown. (Thanks Mark!)
• Data: Added game boxscore scoring summaries for the 1997 season (over 1400 data points).
• Data: Added game boxscore team stats for the 1997 regular season and playoffs (over 1100 data points).
• Data: Added game boxscore individual stats for the 1997 regular season and playoffs (over 1650 data points).
• Data: Additional updates (additional 293 updates, additions and deletions this month).
• Enhancement: Changed streak list output to show the team instance name at the end of the streak.
• Enhancement: Improved the load performance of game pages with scoring summaries and stats in boxscore tab.
• Bug: Fixed bug where incorrect record held span would be listed when record history had a tie and shared record holders.
• Bug: Fixed bug where incorrect team pennant/Grey Cup appearances/Grey Cup wins were listed for non-original nine teams.
• Bug: Fixed incorrect defensive scoring play lengths showing for scoring summaries from 2004-present.
• Bug: Fixed scoring summaries showing end of quarter time for plays when time unknown.

Along with other cosmetic, data, performance, administrative, or infrastructure related bug fixes and enhancements (31 commits this month).

Roadmap

Expanding access to recent added data continues to be the focus, followed by improving the way to navigate and find information on the site.
