The commissioner started the week in Hamilton and ended it in Halifax (watch the Halifax streamed video recording).
The enthusiasm of a crowd rivalling CFL city stops on the commissioner’s tour was tempered by the potential ownership group’s caution over due process and notice that it will be months before more information is available. The message out of Halifax that the partners and league were taking the process “slow and steady” was picked up nationally. Ottawa had a particular interest in the meeting, and how Lansdowne is looked to as a model for Halifax and other’s to copy.
