Argos Open Pre-season Game to Students
Published on April 5, 2012 8:17 PM
With a change in the start time for the June 19th Montreal at Toronto pre-season game to 12:00 PM (noon), the game will be free admission to any student. Schools of participating school boards will be making a trip to the game an end-of-the-school-year field trip.
I hope this initiative gets tremendous participation. A rare opportunity for students, even in today’s age, for a unique field trip at a live sports event and field access. Skipping out or focusing on introverted activities like video games and texting would be a loss of an external experience that is the real world.
