The policy looks to avoid the need for playing of all games by setting clear conditions that will result in teams forfeiting games. Also outlined are the parameters that will require a game cancellation, and the vaccination levels teams need to meet in order for players to receive a game cheque for cancelled games due to a COVID outbreak.

The expectation is not there will be cancelled games, but to have a clear policy in advance of the unexpected so there are no assumptions about rescheduling games and delaying the season, and not to punish players, but encourage vaccinations which is the largest preventer of infections spreading within a team. This policy creates external incentive on unvaccinated players to get vaccinated, as not only will that reduce the risk of a mass infection occurring, but protects the salaries of all team members in the event of an eruption on the team if the they meet the 85% vaccination rate.
