Ten proposed rule changes are approved for 2018 (tenth is ability of Replay Official to correct clock on successful challenge). What I like: No increase in challenges, elimination of illegal contact as challengeable. What I don’t like: wording of automatic potential touchdown review (hopefully not “obvious”), elimination of force out rule, approval of rules four days before first pre-season game. When can we expect an updated rulebook?

The base set size increases to 200 from 160 cards and there are many other changes in a revamped product scheduled to come out in August. Last year’s was forecast for June, but didn’t drop until late in the season, so set your expectations accordingly.
