A great contributor to Canadian football, coaching both professional and university level, Bob was a person people wanted on their staff. My condolences to the Vespaziani family.

Jerry Keeling: 1939-2018

Keeling had a 15-year playing (both ways) career, 12 in Calgary, followed by numerous years as a positional coach and coordinator in the CFL. A tremendous contribution to the Canadian sport. My condolences to the Keeling family.

The younger Flutie (1991-2002; BC, EDM, HAM) has a career with a medical device company while bringing his pass-heavy offence to high school football. Now the offensive coordinator of the private Rivers School in Weston, Flutie still lives in Natick, MA.

Céline Séguin’s Calling is the Grey Cup

This deserves a link, though I missed it in November, because of the topic and the great writing. Séguin is part of the new breed in the CFL head office that does things a new way. Over time new generations will notice, though the scale may be slightly smaller, the CFL delivers the same panache as other options.
