Published on March 22, 2017 9:51 PM

Call him ahead of his time, a giant through the Eskimo dynasty years, or a champion, I remember Larry Highbaugh still playing at a high level when he left the game. Beyond football, he was a great person as well. My condolences to the Highbaugh family.

Rule Committee Recommends Flow and Safety Changes

I believe in relying on the on-field officials for roughing the passer calls, with supplementary discipline and the minority of incorrect calls being calls rather than non-calls over challenging these penalties in an effort to always be correct. All parties need to understand that an expectation that the system will be able to correct all issues doom it to failure from the beginning; the point is to correct the grievous errors.

Another great pioneer and character lost. Staying in Canada after his playing career, he was an influence on many players passing through Calgary; who from subsequent generations is going to fill his shoes in that role? My condolences to the Anderson family.

For the Lions, the CFL and David Braley’s legacy.
