Around 40,000 turn out to watch the RedBlacks parade down Bank Street to a rally at Lansdowne Park. This was more than just watching the team go by, it was interactive as long-waiting and new football fans got to revel in the Grey Cup victory up close with the players and trophy.
The haters (who disparage themselves when they disparage their city) that predicted doom for the team must be looking for a new place to live where no championships are ever won and teams only fold. Either that, or they tell everyone now they were behind the team all along.

A remarkable story coming to the CFL as a 19-year old with little organized football experience, then having a 12 year career and being named an All-Star twice. My condolences to the Smith family.

Coverage all week and blanketing the weekend on all platforms, there will be no shortage of 104th Grey Cup coverage on TSN broadcast, radio and digital platforms. It appears the Outstanding Player awards have been shuffled from a Saturday broadcast feature to TSN Digital coverage. The non-live summary broadcast of awards given out the Thursday before must have been unable to retain any viewers to make it worthwhile to produce.

Kuharich launched his head coaching career in 1987 with an 8-2 run after taking over for Bob Vespaziani mid-season in Calgary. My condolences to the Kuharich family.

One fine in Week 19 for a hit to the head. Numbers have progressed downwards over the season, but still too many.
