Published on April 28, 2014 10:22 PM

Not really a conflict, for the school would never have been targeted in the city’s acquisition. The former DND housing complex area is plenty big enough for a stadium. $2.8 million for the remainder of the land may seem steep for some, but sounds like a deal to me.

’Riders Exceed 2013 Cap

The rules and penalties are clear, complaining about them afterwards is backwards. $18K is not flagrant disregard of the cap, it is unforeseen circumstances, less than half a minimum salary. There is clearly no advantage being sought here, paying fines and penalties because their war chest is deep. Just more needless criticism of the CFL’s policies because everyone else knows best.
