Bob Young’s 10 Year Journey

Bob Young’s legacy to Hamilton and the Tiger-Cats will be judged much more positively in the future than the past once people realize all that he has accomplished.

Steve Daniel’s Work Gets Noticed

Published on November 21, 2013 7:48 PM

The tedious work that goes into the review of every play, every number to rebuild the statistical history better than before is unappreciated by all I would say. Historical stats and records are something people take for granted, most naive about the changes to society in the last 100 years.

Steve also gives his thoughts on the 101st game.

New Stadium Name Coming in Ottawa

Published on November 19, 2013 8:04 PM

This shouldn’t be a surprise and has, in fact, been well know for a while. What will be interesting is how visible the Frank Clair naming/tribute is. If it is a press box, it will hardly be mentioned, and while a statue or other monument is nice, it too will have little national attention like a stadium name.

Missed this earlier in the summer, but nice resource for the 1983 Argos and the reunion this year, with video and interviews from the past and present. Very nice.

2013 CFL TV Ratings Up

Published on November 6, 2013 8:59 PM

Up 4% on TSN and 3.6% on TSN/RDS combined. Promising increase, though the numbers tailed off the last half of the season and that needs to be shored up in the future. The matchups didn’t generate the interest down the stretch this year and that is mostly out of anyone’s control once the schedule is set.
