We will have to wait for the schedule, but maybe it will be held in Guelph or even Moncton. A one year absence can only bring added meaning to its return in 2014.
Then we have this zany headline (timed paywall) from the Globe and Mail contradicting a main source in the article, Chris Rudge:
Argos president Chris Rudge says the negotiations are going well, and he expects it will be more substantial than simply a year-to-year deal.
and
He says he and Beeston often discuss the notion of the Jays wanting to install grass. It’s no secret. But they have never been told it’s imminent or discussed a firm timeline for the Argos to move out.
but the editorializing/reporting and poor headline writing is meant for the reader to walk away thinking the Argos need a new home, if not for 2013 then certainly for 2014.
