Triggered by a story of two fired CUC employees, the interest of Saskatoon in a CFL franchise became a hot topic this week. The Roughriders immediately downplayed the possibility and explained the hurdles. The Saskatoon Mayor stepped in to say the CFL file was closed. Reporters from Regina and Saskatoon review the possibility and draw different conclusions as to why it can’t happen.
