Ray is a QB who will fit into coach Scott Milanovich’s offence (quick release, ball control à la Anthony Calvillo), but I’m surprised the move is met with so much positive press over an experienced QB (they need to surround Ray with receivers to get the ball to, otherwise he will be on his back). He may increase the Argos chances on the field, but I’ve never found him to be that exciting to watch (blame it on his high percentage but low reward style of game). I’ve underestimated the Toronto media for just wanting a winner and unconcerned about the excitement on the field.
