Only one team, Saskatchewan for the second year in a row, exceeded the cap. Ironic considering Saskatchewan was always vocal about not being able to compete with what other teams were spending when there was no transparency in the process.

Worth noting considering our mention of the Hall of Fame game in this post. Adding a naming sponsor to make it happen and plans for future years are nice touches by the organizing committee that says this event will be neglected no more.

As a result of getting a game bumped for a Coldplay concert, the Argos are offering a pre-sale on tickets for August 30th’s Coldplay concert. Buy two tickets for any Argo game this year and you can purchase two Coldplay tickets. Concert tickets go on sale to the general public Monday.

A six month extension should be enough time for lease details be worked out if Ottawa comes to a decision by their April deadline.
