Argo Coverage Holds Its Own

Published on August 28, 2008 6:51 PM

Lots of controversy has added to the Argo stories, but their amount of coverage has been deserved. Don’t kid yourself, people are watching the Argos in the stands and on TV, more than most people think.

Ottawa Park Proposal a “Urban Oasis”

Tillman Explains Crandell Decision

Basically, Tilllman says due to receiver injuries the Roughriders require a more mobile quarterback. If Bishop not only wins for the ‘Riders, but gets them into the playoffs and the Grey Cup, Tillman and coach Ken Miller will look like geniuses. Few would make such a move for the sake of the team.

CP Report: Argos Trade Bishop to ’Riders

If true, there are many unanswered questions. Why now? Why are the ‘Riders suddenly in the market for a QB? What salary cap implications does this have? Who are the player(s) going the other way? The missed opportunity for the Argos to make a QB-for-QB swap in the Joseph trade was likely due to Saskatchewan not being interested in Bishop. I don’t see things having changed to change their interest, but confirmation of the trade will be the proof.

Armour Ejection Incorrect Call: League
