SECTION 2 — TOTAL OFFENCE

  1. Total offence represents the aggregate of all net gains from scrimmage and includes the following:
    1. Net yards on rushing plays where the gains and losses are chargeable to individual players, See Section 3.
    2. Net yards on passing plays, See Section 4.
    3. Yardage losses chargeable against the team record but not against individual players, See Section 5.
  2. Total plays from scrimmage consists of all plays where a team puts the ball into play by a scrimmage, including those nullified by penalty and including convert attempts.
