In the August 2023 release notes for the CFLdb family of sites, we reveal the improvements, changes and additions made in the last month. Read on for details.

The following changes have been made to CFLdb Statistics since the last report:

• Data: Performed over 50 updates to season roster jerseys and player biographical data (Thanks Mark!).
• Data: Added supporting sources and updated missing information for 5 games (Thanks Dennis!).
• Data: Additional updates (over 200 updates, additions and deletions this month).
• Enhancement: Added Overall SoS (Strength of Schedule) column to active season Opponent Record page.
• Enhancement: Added bye weeks to team season schedules.
• Enhancement: Added host team opponent records to team Labour Day game list pages.
• Enhancement: Show site in dark mode when operating system dark mode preference is set.
• Bug: Fixed Week-by-Week Results - Next Up schedule listing.
• Bug: Fixed bug causing team instance point differential records to not show.
• Bug: Fixed None game count players showing in Games Played Leaders listings.
• Bug: Fixed draft search result issues.

Along with other cosmetic, data, performance, administrative, or infrastructure related bug fixes and enhancements (22 commits this month).

Special acknowledgement to Dennis, Mark, Warren, Gino, Tim, Robert, Creedence, Tom and Connor this month.

Roadmap

In August, we spent less time on data entry, but were working on some things we didn’t quite finish. Look for these additions in September as we patiently wait for what is ahead.
