In the July 2023 release notes for the CFLdb family of sites, we reflect on the improvements, changes and additions made in the last month. Read on for details.

The following changes have been made to CFLdb Statistics since the last report:

• Data: Performed over 100 updates from contributions with supporting sources (Thanks Dennis!) These were primarily adding game times, line scores, stadiums, attendance, and coaches but also correcting other errors.
• Data: Added scoring summaries, team statistics and individual statistics for Grey Cup games from 1958-1995 (over 1700 data points). Complete individual statistics are not available for games from 1959-1963, sources are still being sought.
• Data: Additional updates (almost 600 additional updates, additions and deletions this month).
• Enhancement: Restored weekly stats for 2018-2022 seasons, and expanded back to 2008 season. This enables stats from local sources, which is not as complete as previous stats.
• Enhancement: Restored career stats for individual pages.
• Enhancement: Added team assistants to search.
• Enhancement: Improved Next Up on league season week-by-week page, added pdf weely stat package links for 1993, 1995-1998 seasons.
• Enhancement: Added final stat package links for 1995-1997 seasons.
• Bug: Fixed bug in single team scoring by game and quarter on league and team scoring pages.

Along with other cosmetic, data, performance, administrative, or infrastructure related bug fixes and enhancements (35 commits this month).

Special acknowledgement to Dennis, Mark, Jesse, Gino, Warren, Darcy and Tim this month.

Roadmap

We continue to forge forward and believe we have added some valuable information and resources this month. Look for more improvements as we patiently wait for what is ahead.
