The May 2023 release notes for the CFLdb family of sites itemizes the improvements, changes and additions introduced in the last month. Read on for details.

The following changes have been made to CFLdb Statistics since the last report:

• Data: Performed over 450 updates from contributions with supporting sources (Thanks Dennis!) These were primarily adding game times, line scores, stadiums, attendance, and coaches but also contributing missing games to the database and correcting other errors. Dennis has completed review of the ORFU 1898-1919, ARFU, OASFL and started on the BCFU this month.
• Data: Added or udpated details for around 60 people and added or updated pariticpation with games played or season jersey numbers for around 80 players. (Thanks Mark!)
• Data: Added game times for over 120 games (Thanks GUD/Bill!). This contribution completes the missing game data in the 1970s and 1980s and corrected incorrect game times on 80% of the 1983 schedule.
• Data: Additional updates (over 1100 updates, additions and deletions this month).
• Enhancement: Switched contributor tools queries to league based rather than team based, allowing for a broader view on missing data.
• Enhancement: Added streaming details to current (active) season game pages.
• Bug: Fixed territorial pick display.
• Bug: Fixed scoring summary scorer display for some defensive scores.
• Bug: Fixed incorrect streak results on Streak query page.
• Bug: Fixed contributor tools csv export links.

Along with other cosmetic, data, performance, administrative, or infrastructure related bug fixes and enhancements (43 commits this month).

Special acknowledgement to Dennis, Mark, Bill, Tim and an anonymous contributor this month.

Roadmap

Data input along with infrastructure updates kept us busy this month. New required work has entered the queue and we expect this will keep us busy through the summer, slowing other work on the site.

Look for an update in June on state of the database after a slew of data updates in the past year, as well as the usual additions for this time of year.
