The March 2021 release notes for the CFLdb family of sites lists the data improvements, enhancements and fixes made in the past month to improve the site experience for all. Read on for details.

The following changes have been made to CFLdb Statistics since the last report:

• Data: Added biographical information, primarily high school, for over 470 players. These contributions, plus some jersey corrections resulted in the update or addition of nine player seasons. (Thanks Mark!).
• Data: Added game summaries taken from CFL weekly statistical packages for 198 games for the 1993 and 1995 regular seasons.
• Data: Related updates (over 1,070 updates, additions and deletions this month).
• Enhancement: Added League season shutout records (for and against) to League Scoring Records page.
• Enhancement: Improved vitals on Person pages.
• Enhancement: Added Grey Cup scoring records (combined and single team) to Grey Cup page.
• Enhancement: Added select offence and defence category statistical leaders for the week on Season Week pages for 2018 and 2019 seasons.
• Enhancement: Improve team season warnings.
• Bug: Fix team season summary when no regular season played.

Along with other cosmetic, data, performance, administrative, or infrastructure related bug fixes and enhancements (21 commits this month).

Roadmap

Work continued on moving the schema towards the final goal. This work will continue this month. Some time will be dedicated to infrastructure this month as well. In addition, enhancements made this month will be grown, evolved and expanded.
