October 2016 Release Notes

The October 2016 improvements include a few minor fixes to the Statistics site.

Along with the regular and automatic updates to scores, Top Performers of the Week, FAQ and other resources on all sites, the following fixes and enhancements have been made to CFLdb Statistics since the last report:

  • Data: Fixed some data issues relating to CGYRFL/ARFU import.
  • Bug: Fixed issue with season streak queries where streak showed ended when was actually active.
  • Bug: Fixed issue with record compilation causing points to increment with every compilation.
  • Bug: Fixed On This Day showing incorrect location when stadium location unknown.
  • Bug: 404 suggestion enhancements for URLs with upper case characters, and matching on start of team slug for suggestions.
  • Bug: Power Rankings fixes to filter U Sports and catch proper TSN articles.
  • Bug: Various improvements to catch errors for edge cases.
  • Bug: Various caching improvements to expire cache when appropriate.
  • Bug: Various other backend improvements and fixes.
  • Bug: Fixed typo on streaks page.

Up Next

Still need to focus on adding Dominion Finals and QRFU games contributed by Robert Sproule.
