Courtesy the hard work of Steve Daniel and the CFL, CFLdb has received a donation of team roster data and player participation information from 1930 forward. This information is now available on CFLdb Statistics.
This is a huge step for the CFLdb sites and will go a long way to help visitors find information they are looking for. The logical next step will be player statistics. Before you start the countdown for player stats appearing here, there is a lot of work to do in polishing the site, presenting and aggregating the data here, improving search and other improvements to make the site easy and valuable to all seeking Canadian football information. That will be my focus over the remainder of the year. Player stats are likely years away from appearing here, maybe even 5 years if I am still operating the site at that time.
