I received my copy of The Canadian Pro Football Encyclopedia 2012 Edition this week and have had a chance to thumb through it. Here is a quick review of my thoughts.

Purchase Process

Purchasing The Canadian Pro Football Encyclopedia was simple and easy. This year I purchased from Amazon.ca once it became available. The process was simple and easy, the book shipped quickly and arrived in good condition.

The Book

The CPFE is a perfect-bound paperback, about 8.5” x 11“ in size and about 1.25” thick, about 0.25” thinner than last year’s edition. This is due to improved typography and layout inside, improving the readability and decreasing the size. The 2012 edition includes new sections and statistics plus the addition of stats from 2011. It appears many of the printing/typesetting and other errors have been corrected.

Much of last year’s review still applies. Overall, the CPFE remains the complete source for history buffs, fans and descendants of former players that would like a record of their families time in the Canadian Football League. At less than $30, I give it a must buy for anyone thinking of buying a copy.
