Year-End Accounting

As December arrives it is time to take a year-end accounting. Evaluate the year, the blessings received and improvements needed for next year.

No matter my situation, I remind myself I am so much more well off than many. I can go without many things and still live a life of comfort. This makes it a good time to decide where I will share that good fortune. One charity I have decided to support this year is The Michael “Pinball” Clemons Foundation and their initiative to build 131 schools in Africa. You may have heard about this on Prime Time Sports and the Fan590.

CFL fans will remember Pinball as a dynamic player (wearing jersey #31) for the Toronto Argonauts in the late 1980’s and 1990’s and as Toronto’s coach in two stints in the last decade.

If you have extra cash this year you can spare, no matter the amount, I encourage you to support this or another charity, local or global, and share some of the wealth this country is blessed with.
