With the talk of the qualities needed in the new commissioner, I think this article summarizes it nicely. The personality will be different but “an incredible leader”, someone who will sit “down with owners, players, sponsorship partners and even the average fan, engaging in open dialogue” and a vision for what the league needs to stand for and where it needs to go. Comfortable on his feet responding to challenges from the media as well as in the boardroom, but that comes with the confidence and vision.
