City staff and the Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group have asked council to extend the negotiation period from 60 to 90 days, which would make August 26 the date the plan is presented to council.

The one with the biggest impact will be requiring teams to kick off after field goals. Coaches will need to learn to exploit it by improving their kick return squads.

The TSN coverage was very refreshing and fast paced which provided a very viewable draft compared to other televised drafts.
