Lansdowne Fight

Both sides in the Lansdowne Park battle continue their back and forth sniping. If only the same passion and effort could be placed on more worthy things. Here is the last week of Ottawa stadium news.
- Friends of Lansdowne file appeal
- 80% of Friends donations from individuals
- New challenges to cost additional $200,000
- City reaffirms support for Lansdowne; timeline
- Group claims Lansdowne design does not meet agreement
- Lawsuits dropped if Lansdowne Conservancy unsolicited proposal accepted I think the answer to Martin’s naivete is in his statement, “It’s taken them almost four years and we still don’t have a final design.” What makes him think his proposal would not need any due diligence, changes or revisions? I can guarantee there will be someone not happy with his design and there will be requests to change it.
